Love is the Breath that Interconnects All Living Things.
We often think of, and have been taught that love is an emotion, or feeling, however the truth of love is far greater, and simpler, interconnecting our humanity with all of nature.
Like us, trees and plants breathe; God’s breath is in our lungs.

I have personally been on a very long, arduous spiritual journey to discover the truth of love.
And, it is not the truth that most of us have been told to believe.
We each have a God-shaped void deep within our hearts, a void that we continually search for in someone else or something external to finally be fulfilled, but that deep inner-yearning and longing still remains, hidden underneath.
That’s the addiction and illusion of love we have been taught to believe, which can be the cause of great suffering.
We can spend our whole lives searching for love, truth and purpose, but it’s only when we slow down and be still can we find it.
God does not merely exist; God is existence itself; the Spirit of love and breath within all living things, and the breath within you, in the quiet stillness of life.
“For, behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.”
It is and has always been there, guiding you – it’s just that most of us don’t take the time to slow down and listen to the silence, rather hurriedly trying to get somewhere or towards something that we think will finally fulfil this God-shaped void.
Our ancestors knew this silence, or powerful lifeforce, as God or the great Spirit that interconnects all living things – and this Spirit is also within you.
There have been many names and words to describe this lifeforce, yet whatever you choose to call it, it is always present.
And whether you choose to believe in it or not, it is still there, like the air or wind. It requires no belief, because it is beyond belief.
Love is an all-knowing “I am” presence, encompassing all life existence.
“ אֶהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיֶה (’ehye ’ăšer ’ehye) is the first of three responses given to Moses when he asks for God’s name. “I Am that I Am” is a common English translation – also “I am who (I) am”, “I will become what I choose to become”, “I am what I am”, “I will be what I will be”, “I create what(ever) I create”, or “I am the Existing One.”
Beyond all of your thoughts, all of your emotions, this “I am” presence is steadfast and constant. An unconditional, divine love.
This “I am” presence, is the Spirit of God.
If you inhale a breath in, then exhale a breath out, your very existence, your pure being, is breathing with the entire cosmos.
You are breathing the name and sound of God in every breath.
Every time a baby is born, it speaks the name of God in their very first breath.
A person leaves this earth with their very last breath when the name of God no longer fills their lungs.
“I am” breathing this very same “one breath”, interconnected with all living things.
While no conclusive bibliographic data is given for ‘the sound of breathing’ translation, the name YHWH is derived from the verb “to be” (הָוָה; hāwâ), "to exist", "to cause to become" or "to come to pass” in Hebrew. It would convey the sense that God is the “one who is” directly connecting to the “I am who I am” of Exodus 3:14.
God’s divine love and existence is not dependent on anything - just “to be” and “to exist” is enough, as this very breath of lifeforce moves through us.
It is however up to each of us, our own freewill and choice, whether we choose to align our lives and personal wills with this higher divine will and power, to be of service to the whole.
Yet once we do, this power can lead our lives in ways that fulfills our deepest yearnings and greatest dharmic purpose, not only for ourselves, but for the well-being of all life on Earth that shares this same breath and of which we are interdependent upon for our survival and continuation as a human species.
